Jaclynn and Jack Haverty raced at Antioch Speedway on Saturday night.

Last Saturday night it was a full night with 6 divisions running, including the Dwarf Car Division. Both the Haverty drivers were at the event.

The weekend would see three heat races, "B" Main and the "A" Main

Jack and Jaclynn would find themselves racing in the same heat, #3.

When the heat ended, Jack finished 1st and Jaclynn 4th, so both drivers transferred directly to the "A"

The "A" Main saw 18 drivers starting. After many battles in the field, Jaclynn finished her night in 9th and Jack finished 7th.

What is Family Racing?

Family racing is what tomorrow's NASCAR, IRL, ChampCar, F1, World of Outlaws champions are born from.

They are families that are on limited sponsorship and most of the time financed by the family or friends.

Sometimes, like the Haverty's, you can get some sponsorship to be able to keep the car running and good shape.

But you can make a difference - Please sponsor your favorite team or driver so they can keep the local racing and your local track in business.

Jaclynn Haverty's Driver's Report	I woke up on Saturday and I ran to the window like a little kid does a Christmas tree on Christmas morning. YES! Its not raining. We might get the chance to race after two months of rain delays. So I get dressed and start helping my dad pack everything in to the trailers to get ready for the day. Then my grandma calls and says that she is going too.	Jack Haverty's Driver's Report	At this point I feel like I did last year as a rookie. I’m showing up not knowing how the car will run or handle. Plus being only the second race of the season I need to get a feel for sideways and fast. I did not make it to any of the practices. I’m coming off of an accident from last race so I hope the car is setup right and the wheels will stay on.
